Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Average of 42 hours per week, Days & Nights)
Shift time - 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to help safeguard a youth residential facility. This vital role ensures a safe, secure, and supportive environment for minors, while working collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and security of minors within the facility.
- Monitor access control systems and verify visitor identification.
- Conduct routine patrols to maintain a secure environment.
- Collaborate effectively with on-site staff and external professionals (e.g., Social Services, Councillors).
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, acting as Fire Marshal where required, and liaising with emergency services.
- De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate, timely incident reports and security logs.
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence Essential
- Enhanced DBS Desirable (will be processed and paid for if successful)
- Basic understanding of safeguarding Desirable (training provided)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Confident, calm, and professional approach to conflict resolution
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
