Pay Rate: up to circa £41,000 dependent on hours worked (PAYE ONLY)

We are currently recruiting GP Level 2 Dog Handlers on a PAYE basis to support one of our key clients due to the continued expansion of their K9 Division. This role will involve delivering high quality specialist K9 GP services across a range of sites throughout the Yorkshire region.
This opportunity would suit professional dedicated and purpose driven handlers who are passionate about K9 welfare and maintaining excellent service standards.
Role Details:
The role will be based across various sites throughout Yorkshire. Lone working will be required at times. Shift patterns will include days, nights and weekends with exact shift times to be confirmed. The average working week will be 48 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols on-site to ensure safety and security.
- Complete comprehensive patrol reports, including incident and observation reports, accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with the Control Room using clear, fluent spoken English via communication devices.
- Ensure that vehicles are fully equipped for the welfare of both handler and dog during shifts, including appropriate facilities for rest, hydration, and safety.
- Maintain up-to-date training in Counter Terrorism (CT) and ensure all dog certification records are current and compliant.
- Use and maintain familiarity with the company's ST App for reporting and other operational requirements.
- Relocate to different site locations as required when assignments change or sites close.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience within K9 GP Deployment / Own Dog
- NASDU or Equivalent Level 2 CP Certified
- NASDU Team Certified
- Own Vehicle (K9 Compliant including cage)
- SIA Licence (preferably Door Supervisor)
- Great Customer Service Delivery
- Excellent Communication (verbal and written)
