About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and confident Control Room Supervisor to join our Greenwich Control Room team. This is a hands-on operational role focused on staffing scheduling and service delivery. This is not a CCTV monitoring position.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth out of hours operations working closely with Operations Managers, Schedulers, Mobile Services and senior management. Strong leadership, clear communication and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Shift Leadership and Compliance
- Lead and supervise control room shifts
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Maintain correct staffing hours on internal systems
- Oversee staff Health and Safety during out of hours operations
- Operational Control
- Schedule and deploy site personnel efficiently
- Keep the SmartTask system fully up to date
- Communicate operational changes clearly and promptly
- Monitor the Mobile Team including welfare checks and alarm responses
- Ensure accurate booking on and off times and elevate issues where required
- Manage last minute client requests and staffing challenges
- Escalate incidents, complaints, sickness or staffing concerns
- Complete daily reports and detailed shift handovers
- Add new staff and subcontractors to systems accurately
- Respond to customer calls including Houston, Lawrence and Pride monitoring services
Requirements
- Proven experience in a control room and/or supervisory role
- Valid SIA Licence and DBS check
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- IT literate with experience using MS Office and operational systems
- Previous security industry experience is highly desirable
