Job Overview
We are recruiting experienced Security Dog Handlers (GP Level 2) to join a growing K9 division on a full-time PAYE basis. This role involves delivering professional K9 security services, mobile patrols, and site security across multiple locations in Yorkshire. This opportunity is ideal for reliable, professional handlers with a strong focus on security operations, dog welfare, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security patrols and K9 patrol duties across client sites
- Complete incident reports, patrol reports, and site documentation
- Communicate effectively with Control Room and site contacts
- Maintain high standards of dog welfare, safety, and handling
- Ensure all security equipment and vehicles are compliant
- Travel between sites as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in security dog handling / K9 security
- Own trained security dog (GP)
- NASDU Level 2 (or equivalent) certification
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor preferred)
- Own K9-compliant vehicle (dog cage required)
- Strong communication skills and customer service
Preferred but not essential
- NASDU Team Certification
