About the Role
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable CCTV Operator / Security Officer to join our clients dedicated security team. This is a key position responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to incidents or alarms
- Manage site access control and maintain accurate access/egress records
- Maintain daily logbooks and registers
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly service
- Notify relevant staff upon visitor arrival and manage appointment tracking
- Answer telephone calls and handle enquiries appropriately
- Handle mail and deliveries efficiently
- Assist visitors upon departure, including arranging transportation if needed
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Contact emergency services when required
- Check alarm circuits and ensure building systems are functioning properly
- Uphold high standards of presentation and housekeeping in the control room
Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Licence (essential)
- CCTV Licence (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Confident in using computers and operating CCTV systems
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Ability to work independently (lone working required)
