- Your day-to-day work will include:
- Gas fault finding, servicing and reactive repairs
- Plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Unvented hot water systems
- Heating and hot water repairs
- Carrying out reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic properties
- Completing job sheets and reports accurately
- Communicating professionally with customers and clients
- Working safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Participating in a paid on-call rota
£38,000 – £40,000 per year + Paid On-Call Rota

Are you an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber looking for a permanent Monday–Friday role?
City Group Managed Services Ltd is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our maintenance team.
You'll carry out a mixture of gas, plumbing, heating and reactive maintenance across a varied portfolio of commercial and domestic properties throughout the North West.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, working independently and delivering a high standard of workmanship.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will include:

- Heating and hot water repairs
- Carrying out reactive maintenance across commercial and domestic properties
- Completing job sheets and reports accurately
- Communicating professionally with customers and clients
- Working safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Participating in a paid on-call rota
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced engineer who has:
- Current Gas Safe qualifications
- A recognised Plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' plumbing/maintenance experience
- Experience working in domestic and/or commercial environments
- Experience with unvented hot water systems
- Strong gas and plumbing fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Willingness to complete a DBS check where required for client sites
