The role:

We’re looking for a curious, energetic, and highly proactive PR Account Executive to join our team. You’ll support the planning and delivery of campaigns that earn media attention and drive SEO value. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone excited about launching a career in communications and growing quickly in a supportive team. What you’ll be doing:

  • Pitching stories to journalists via email and phone to secure media coverage
  • Researching trends, journalists and media opportunities
  • Contributing creative content ideas and campaign angles
  • Supporting SEO-driven PR
  • Writing press releases, articles and journalist outreach emails
  • Creating simple visuals and media assets using Canva
  • Compiling campaign reports and tracking PR coverage
  • Learning to use media monitoring, PR and SEO tools

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in PR, communications, journalism or a related field
  • A strong interest in media, current affairs and digital storytelling
  • Creative and energetic, with a willingness to take initiative
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as numeracy
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office is a must; interest in Canva, SEO and WordPress is a plus

What happens next:

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a virtual or face to face interview with Alex Hankinson. There will be some short written and communications tasks as part of the interview process.
