Founded in 2003, we are a privately owned Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance main contractor with offices across Scotland and England. Headquartered in Paisley, the company has consolidated its position as a major contributor to the construction industry, employing over 200 staff across eight fully integrated divisions. We maintain a strong year-on-year commitment to trades apprentices, who represent approximately 15% of our workforce. We recognise the importance of industry-standard accreditations and continually invest in maintaining and expanding these. The Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Contracts Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of various planned maintenance and upgrade works across Renfrewshire and the surrounding areas. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, working closely with in-house operatives, subcontractors, and management to maintain consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the delivery of planned maintenance and upgrade works from start to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on programme and within agreed budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of all projects.
- Lead and supervise site teams, promoting high standards of workmanship, productivity, and professionalism.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance aligns with company expectations.
- Provide clear instructions and support to operatives to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Ensure all works are carried out in full compliance with health and safety legislation and CGC procedures.
- Monitor site standards and address any non-compliance promptly.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all teams and subcontractors.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience supervising maintenance or refurbishment projects, ideally within planned maintenance or upgrade works.
- Strong background in planned maintenance and upgrade projects.
- Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident working with a range of stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and site compliance requirements.
Location
Based at our head office in Linwood, covering Renfrewshire and the surrounding areas.
