Founded in 2003, we are a privately owned Construction, Refurbishment and Maintenance main contractor with offices in Scotland and England. The Role
We are seeking a Regional Contracts Manager to manage projects across the Southwest of England, through to London. This position is being advertised as Bristol-based; however, we are happy to consider applicants located anywhere within the Southwest region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager or a proven Site/Project Manager looking to take the next step into regional leadership. The role will oversee multiple live sites, covering a wide range of works including commercial refurbishments, void property contracts, and general construction projects. You will take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected by both CGC and our clients. You will manage and support our Site Managers, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and our commercial and construction teams to drive consistency, performance, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects across the region, ensuring programmes, quality, and budgets are achieved.
- Lead and support Site Managers, providing clear direction, guidance, and mentoring.
- Take responsibility for operational delivery, ensuring effective planning, resourcing, and communication across all sites.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants, acting as a key point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Work closely with the Construction Director and commercial team to manage costs, variations, and overall project performance.
- Promote and uphold CGC’s commitment to Health & Safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager role within the construction or refurbishment sector.
- Strong operational understanding of project delivery from start to finish.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities.
- Commercially aware with a practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and represent CGC professionally.
- A positive leader who promotes teamwork, accountability, and high standards across every project.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the Southwest and London.
Qualifications:
- Construction-related qualification or equivalent experience.
- SMSTS and CSCS (Manager’s Card).
