About the Summer Residential Programme: Manchester City’s Summer Residential Programme welcomes young people from around the world for an immersive football, education, and cultural experience delivered at the City Football Academy and supported by high-quality residential provision.

  • Provide on-campus supervision throughout the day, acting as a visible and approachable point of contact for participants.
  • Support participant welfare, responding appropriately to minor medical issues or concerns and escalating where required.
  • Support the supervision of participants during weekend excursions, ensuring participant safety at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with coaches, residential staff, and programme leads to support smooth programme delivery.
  • Communicate incidents, concerns, or key updates promptly to senior staff.
  • Maintain professional conduct, appropriate boundaries, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Represent Manchester City and City Football Group values through professional behaviour.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a supervisory or support capacity.
  • Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to manage groups and maintain supervision ratios.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm, professional, and reliable approach.
  • Willingness to work daytime shifts and occasional weekends as required.
  • Experience in a school, camp, sports, or youth setting.
  • First aid or safeguarding training.
  • Experience supporting group travel or excursions.
  • Interest in football or sports programmes.
