The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Partner Programs Manager to support the effective and high-quality delivery of Manchester City Football Education initiatives across our Partner Program network. This role is central to ensuring all football operations are aligned with City Football Group’s standards of excellence - both on and off the pitch. You will play a key part in managing day-to-day Partner relationships, overseeing operational processes, and ensuring every program reflects the authenticity and professionalism of Manchester City.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior International Program Manager, Head of Coaching Methodology, and external Partner stakeholders to launch and operate world-class football programs. You will manage key processes such as the onboarding and auditing of programs, contribute to recruitment and relocation of coaching staff, and oversee program design, delivery, and quality assurance. This is a dynamic role requiring a balance of operational precision, relationship management, and football insights, ensuring that every Partner Program delivers an exceptional learning experience for young players.

Your Impact

  • Support new program launches: Assist the Senior International Program Manager with the successful launch of new Manchester City Partner Programs, overseeing all football operations and ensuring compliance through onboarding and auditing processes.
  • Manage coaching staff recruitment: Work with the Head of Coaching Methodology and Partners to identify, recruit, and relocate coaching staff in line with program requirements, ensuring all HR processes are adhered to.
  • Oversee program delivery: Lead the design, structure, and day-to-day delivery of football programs tailored to each Partner Program, managing equipment, logistics, and operational efficiencies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance: Monitor and evaluate Partner Programs’ performance through reporting and reviews, providing regular updates to internal leadership team relating to football operations.
  • Support partnership development: Advise the Football Education commercial team on operational considerations for new and existing partnerships, contributing to business development and renewal discussions.
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives: Work with commercial and marketing teams to support Partner Programs’ promotions, ensuring materials align with Manchester City and City Football Group brand guidelines.

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Strong understanding of the football/sports industry, with experience working across international environments and cultures.
  • Background in working within a youth development environment, with practical understanding of young players’ needs and how programs operate.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communicator, confident working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in account management and maintaining strong partner relationships.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with City Football Group’s Football Education & Recreation products and global Clubs.
