Education Tutor (Part‑time, Fixed‑Term)
Location: Manchester, GB. Schedule: 18.75 hours per week. Role supports the academic development of players in Manchester City Women’s Professional Development Phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess A-Level learning for students studying Science (Chemistry, Biology), Psychology, or Economics.
- Create and deliver programmes of study and learning materials, monitor progress, and provide clear feedback.
- Support education administration: progress reporting, liaising with schools/colleges, report gathering, and student support for hybrid and part‑time training models.
- Collaborate with Academy staff and external education partners to coordinate academic activities and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree‑level education in Science, Psychology, Economics, or a closely related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status, PGCE or QTLS, with ability to teach KS5/post‑16.
- Experience teaching/supporting young people in secondary, post‑16 or similar educational settings.
- Experience planning, delivering, & assessing A-Level chemistry, biology, psychology or economics.
- Ability to create high‑quality learning materials, track progress, prepare clear reports, and utilise digital resources effectively.
- Strong communication, organisational, and collaborative skills; commitment to safeguarding and CPD.
