You will work closely with coaches and analysts across academy and first-team environments to ensure strong alignment in methodology and standards, while collaborating with data, scouting, medical, and performance teams to embed analysis within a holistic, evidence-based performance model that is practical, coach-led, and impactful.

A key focus will be driving multi-club alignment and knowledge sharing by creating communities of practice, workshops, and shared resources, while supporting cross-club projects linked to game model and methodology development. Through ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement, you will ensure analysis outputs are clear, actionable, and relevant, staying at the forefront of global trends and innovation to continuously raise coaching and performance standards across City Football Group.

  • Experience supporting coaches and analysts across different teams, age groups, and cultural contexts.
  • Influential leader and communicator, able to build trust, manage stakeholders, and translate complex performance insights into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Strategic focus with the ability to deliver operational, comfortable moving between long-term framework development and hands-on, day-to-day support in high-performance settings.
  • Practitioner-focused, with an innovative mindset, commitment to continuous learning, and flexibility to work irregular hours and travel regularly across the club network.
  • Additional language capability would be beneficial, reflecting the global scope of the role.
