We are looking for a Finance Systems Manager to join our forward-thinking Technology team and help shape the future of City Football Group’s Finance technology landscape. As Finance Systems Manager within the Enterprise Solutions function, you’ll lead the development, deployment, and optimisation of Finance systems that support CFG’s global operations. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and Technology, you’ll ensure our systems are stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This hands-on role combines system management with project delivery—introducing new solutions, enhancing existing platforms, and driving continuous improvement across Finance processes. You’ll play a key role in advancing CFG’s digital Finance capability, enabling smarter, data-driven decision-making across our clubs and corporate teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a collaborative, fast-paced environment at the heart of the global football industry.

Your Impact:

  • Configure, Administer and Maintain Enterprise Solution applications, providing day-to-day support, managing access ensuring reliability, access control and compliance.
  • Act as the first/second line support for Finance Technology Solutions utilising the Zendesk solution.
  • Manage all tickets and triage as required while looking to improve processes.
  • Support the Senior Finance Technology Manager & Head of Enterprise Solutions to service, deliver and maintain the Enterprise Solutions Technology estate.
  • Assist with the delivery of new Enterprise Solutions applications across the City Football Group Portfolio following the CFG PMO process.
  • Project manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, aligning to the Technology Architecture and using the methodologies at CFG.
  • Work with External Partners for system support and development.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years in Finance systems experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes (AP, AR, GL Fixed Assets, Reporting etc.).
  • Demonstrated project management capability, ideally across full project lifecycle.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI reporting knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, self-motivated and collaborative working style.
  • ITIL certification and familiarity with service management tools (e.g. Zendesk).
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with system integration such as APIs.
  • Experience of working with Unit4 ERP (Agresso).
