The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Part time hours - 18.75 hours per week. Closing Date of Applications – 28/01/26. Please note that this role will be rota-based Monday to Sunday based on operational need and will include weekend working.
Purpose
To primarily provide NPLQ cover and PPO across all campus hydro and Pool areas as required for Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, Academy, Academy Stadium, Etihad Stadium. To assist and support the Senior Facilities Manager in other key FM Departmental areas including Fire Marshall and First Aid duties when necessary.
Your Impact
- Supervising/assisting Performance team members with pool sessions when required.
- Supervising of all individual player rehab pool sessions, in conjunction with the Performance Team.
- Recording and documenting all pool water chemical readings in conjunction with the Maintenance Pool Plant operators across the campus.
- Carry out daily checks, audits, and PPMs in line with technical ability and job role (ATD, compliance or cleanliness).
- Report any defects to FM Helpdesk including any jobs where skilled maintenance operative is required to attend.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels of pool water treatment chemicals as documented in the Pool Plant Ops manual.
- Conduct, review, update COSHH Risk Assessments, Risk Assessments and Material Data Sheets.
- Regularly review and update information contained within the Pool Ops Manual including NOP/EAP.
- Cleaning and presentation of all pool and spa areas across the campus.
- Provide assistance to the Kit and housekeeping teams in keeping the areas clean and tidy.
- Site support to the Senior Facilities Manager First Team.
- Ensure effective two way communication for water tests, reports, operational updates or issues requiring urgent attention.
- Attend regular training courses both in-house and external to ensure qualifications and knowledge are kept up to date.

- Current NPLQ Lifeguard qualification.
- Pool plant operation qualification and experience.
- Experience within a leisure or sporting organisation.
- Display strong and effective communication skills.

Desirable
- Leisure/Fitness instructor qualification.
- FM based training or qualification.
- First Aid Qualification (passed within 6 months).
