Based in Manchester, this full time, 18-month maternity cover role will help shape the financial performance of Manchester City’s matchday and non-matchday commercial operations. You will turn financial data into clear insight that supports decisions across ticketing, hospitality, catering and major stadium events, while helping the Commercial Finance team deliver sustainable revenue and EBITDA performance in a collaborative hybrid environment with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

As Commercial Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial support across Manchester City’s stadium revenue generation. Your analysis will help colleagues understand performance, identify opportunities and make timely decisions across ticketing, hospitality, catering and non-matchday events, including concerts and future major events such as Euro 2028 activity. You will lead the co-ordination of budgets and forecasts across matchday areas, oversee P&L management and monitor product performance and margins. You will translate complex financial information into clear, accessible reporting, support corrective action where needed and contribute to the team’s ongoing process improvements. The role is also responsible for managing and developing a Finance Analyst. You will build trusted relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, communicate financial findings with confidence and work closely with the Finance Business Partner – Stadium Finance to support the department’s objectives and long-term plans.
