Based at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, this role is an opportunity to bring Manchester City to life for visitors from around the world. Stadium Tours operate seven days a week, and the casual contract can fit around other commitments. You will help deliver engaging, interactive experiences across the Etihad Stadium and City Football Academy, creating memorable moments for guests through clear communication, thoughtful hosting and a real passion for football.

As a Stadium Tour Guide, you will deliver engaging tours for a wide range of visitors, sharing the history, heritage and atmosphere of Manchester City in a way that feels accessible, memorable and authentic. You will help guests experience the Etihad Stadium and City Football Academy through storytelling, interaction and confident group hosting. Day to day, you will welcome guests, support front-of-house activity, help with photo opportunities, distribute media guides and assist with the VR experience. You will also operate tour technology and support appropriate opportunities to introduce guests to other tour products, always keeping the visitor experience at the centre of what you do. Working closely with Stadium Tours Supervisors and colleagues across the operation, you will help ensure tours run smoothly, safely and in line with Manchester City procedures. Your ability to connect with different audiences, manage groups calmly and communicate clearly will help every guest leave with a positive impression of the club.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience presenting to groups and communicating clearly with varied audiences.
  • Experience supporting guests in a customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to manage groups calmly, safely and confidently, including groups with children.
  • Skilled in storytelling, with the ability to bring football, Manchester and Manchester City stories to life.
  • Good knowledge of Manchester City, the Premier League and wider football.
  • A flexible, collaborative approach and the ability to manage time effectively during a busy visitor experience.

Working as part of Manchester City’s Stadium Tours team means representing a club with deep roots in East Manchester and a global community of fans. In this casual role, you will have the flexibility to work around other commitments while helping visitors enjoy a memorable, high-quality experience at the Etihad Stadium.
