Based in Manchester, this casual role supports the organisation and delivery of the U9-U16 City Select programme. Working closely with the Senior Player Pathway Manager, you will help keep weekly operations running smoothly, support clear communication, and ensure players, parents and staff have a consistent, well-organised experience.

This role plays an important part in making sure the City Select programme runs smoothly from week to week. You will help coordinate the detail behind the programme so that players and staff can focus on the football, with reliable support across planning, communication and administration. Day to day, you will coordinate weekly schedules, staffing, pitches, fixtures and programme logistics across the U9-U16 age groups. You will also support the preparation and distribution of Weekly Coaching Plans, matchday information, player updates and programme communications, while keeping player registers, attendance information, forms, reporting and records accurate and up to date. Alongside this, you will act as a key point of contact for parents, coaches and programme staff, helping to keep communication professional, timely and clear. You will review coaching, fixture and Talent Identification submissions, follow up any missing information, and support player review and Talent Identification activity by organising coaching and scouting intelligence and agreed actions. You will also contribute to training, fixtures, briefings, inductions and programme meetings as needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working with young players, parents and staff in a football or player-development environment.
  • Ability to coordinate schedules, staffing, fixtures and programme logistics accurately.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with confidence liaising professionally with a range of stakeholders.
  • Careful attention to detail and confidence using digital tools to manage reporting and information.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, player welfare and compliance requirements in a youth sport setting.
  • Ability to review information carefully, follow up missing detail and support player-review or talent-identification processes.
