Purpose
To support the delivery of all Academy transport requirements and associated administrative duties, under the direction of the Transport Co-ordinator. To provide safe, reliable, and professional transport services for players, trialists, staff, and players’ families, ensuring their comfort, safety, and welfare at all times. To deliver comprehensive administrative support to enable the effective and efficient operation of all transport services.

Your Impact
- To deliver a safe, efficient, and well-organised transport service for all Academy players, staff, guests, and families, ensuring appropriate administrative processes are followed at all times.
- To complete all associated administrative tasks to a high standard, including scheduling, record-keeping, reporting, and documentation to support the effective delivery of transport services.
- To proactively identify operational challenges, develop innovative solutions, and regularly review transport processes and administrative systems to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- To coordinate and deliver day-to-day transport schedules (including scholar runs, Day Release runs, and other Academy transport requirements), ensuring all logistics and records are accurately maintained.
- To develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, players, parents, and key Academy stakeholders through effective communication and professional administration.
- To communicate relevant information to appropriate staff regarding any matters relating to player behaviour, welfare, or development, ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained where required.
- To provide logistical and administrative support for pre-season tours, tournaments, and other Academy events as required.
- To deliver a meet-and-greet service for trialists and prospective signings and their families, accompanying them as required and ensuring a world-class first impression through professional organisation and communication.
- To ensure all departmental vehicles are maintained to a high standard, including reporting faults, coordinating resolutions, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all vehicle documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date.
- To work and behave in accordance with Academy values, policies, and procedures at all times.
- To contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of a high-performance sporting environment.
- To support transport arrangements for Academy staff as required, ensuring all associated administrative duties are completed accurately and efficiently.
What we are looking for
- Must be over the age of 25 with at least 2 years driving experience.
- Clean driving license.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Proven experience of working in an administrative environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.
- Confident and experienced driver.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Competent computer skills and ability proficient in the key Microsoft office packages.
- Highly self-motivated and able to be reactive and flexible.
- Be an Effective team member.
- Flexible attitude to working hours and willingness to work unsociable hours on a frequent basis.
- Experience meeting and greeting people in a professional manner.
- Basic knowledge of legal framework & requirements around driving legislation.
- Knowledge of travel bookings and world geographical awareness.
- Basic understanding of spoken languages such as French, Spanish and Italian.
- Experience in transportation and travel arrangements.
- Experience working with young people.
- Advance or secure driving certification.
- D1 category on driving license (if applicant does not have this entitlement at present they must show willingness to obtain D1 within first 6 months of employment).
