Join Manchester City Women in a key culinary role supporting elite athletes with high-quality, performance-focused food preparation. Based at the Women’s 1st Team Facility in Manchester, this part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on player wellbeing, recovery and performance.

As Chef de Partie, you will support the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to the needs of elite athletes and staff. Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Nutrition team, you will help ensure food preparation and presentation consistently meets the highest professional standards. You will contribute to menu development, support smooth day-to-day kitchen operations and help maintain excellent hygiene and food safety practices. The role also includes supporting stock management, reducing waste and maintaining kitchen equipment and service areas.
This is a collaborative role where flexibility and teamwork are essential, including supporting domestic and international travel where required to provide team-standard catering services.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience preparing and presenting food within a professional hospitality or elite sporting environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP and Food Safety Level 3
- Ability to organise workloads, manage priorities and adapt positively in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to detail when preparing and presenting food
- Experience supporting stock control, supplier management and minimising food waste
