Based in Manchester, this casual Manchester City role gives you the opportunity to support the delivery of a varied programme of non-matchday events across the Etihad Campus. You will play a key part in making sure each event runs smoothly, feels well organised and reflects the high standards of Manchester City.

Within our venue operations team, we help bring to life a wide range of events and activations across the Etihad Campus. Our work depends on planning, pace and close collaboration, creating a seamless experience for clients, colleagues and visitors alike.
The Role
This role sits at the centre of event delivery and gives you the chance to make a visible difference every time the Campus welcomes guests. You will help coordinate the moving parts that keep events running well, acting as a reliable point of contact and making sure each event is set up for success.
Day to day, you will support event set-up and close-down, walk customer journeys, brief teams, and work closely with internal colleagues to make sure requirements are delivered on time. You will also support customer service on event days, handling queries, responding professionally to feedback and helping to maintain a calm, organised and welcoming environment.
You will be trusted to manage event stock control and ordering, including items such as AV equipment, stationery and football equipment, while keeping a close eye on detail and standards. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, stays composed when priorities change, and takes pride in delivering a smooth experience from start to finish.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in events, hospitality or venue operations in a customer-facing role.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail.
- Awareness of First Aid and Health and Safety regulations
- Confidence working independently and using your initiative.
- Basic IT literacy, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
