Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Assistant (AMT)

Location: Barnstaple

Salary: £28,540.46 Total Salary (including Standby, Overtime, Travel Time), 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension, Company Vehicle & Benefits (including Private Healthcare, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Assistant to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients.

The purpose of this role is to carry out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs. You will also assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, including electrical and mechanical plant works at various retail sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk, assess the requirements, and carry out repairs as necessary.
  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work within agreed timescales.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential:

  • Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in building maintenance.

The ideal candidate:

  • Full driving license.
  • Experience using a PDA system.
  • Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment.
