Location: Manchester/Liverpool/North West

Hours: 45 per week/Day Shifts

Salary: £33,112.24 + benefits

This role will support the delivery of an effective national water hygiene service, working with the Water Hygiene Team to carry out inspections, monitoring, audits, sampling and reporting in line with ACoP L8 and company procedures. The role ensures statutory compliance, high health and safety standards, and a professional service across all sites.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver statutory water hygiene activities in line with ACoP L8, Water Regulations, and City FM procedures
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, monitoring, sampling, and reporting within required timescales
  • This role requires extensive travel including overnight stays.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and quality for colleagues, contractors, and the public
  • Communicate professionally with site management, colleagues, and national teams, providing updates and raising remedial actions where required
  • Ensure all documentation, compliance records, and PPMs are completed accurately and on time

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Essential:

  • GCSE standard
  • Knowledge/ experience in the Legionella / water field
  • Full driving licence
  • PC literate (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexibility in work hours/location

Desirable:

  • City & Guilds Legionella and Water Hygiene Control Within Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH003)
  • City & Guilds Risk Assessment for Legionella and Water Hygiene Control in Water Systems (WH004)
  • City & Guilds Disinfection of Hot and Cold Water Systems (WH005)
