This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a number of site locations within a specified region. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in ASDA stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.
Although not an exhaustive list, this is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.
Key Responsibilities:- To complete all necessary PPM’s and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
- To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
- To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA’s
- C&G 2382 (18th edition)
- Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365 etc.
- Desirable but not essential: Familiarity with completion of electrical certification
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
- Time served in electrical discipline or have relevant industry experience in a similar role.
- Ability to maintain/repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. fans, pumps and compressors, to recognised standards
- General plumbing and building experience
- Ability to work at heights
- Current driving licence
