Job Description

The Vacancy
We are recruiting for an Operator to be part of our busy, reactive One Stop Shop department (OSS). The role involves inbound and outbound telephone enquiries. Liaising with colleagues, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the smooth management of all aspects relating to OSS disciplines (Parts, Quotes, Purchase order Uplifts and uniform). Comprehensive training and support will be provided for our CITY Bespoke Systems. This role is based at our Glasgow Headquarters with a flexible hybrid approach.
Responsibilities:
  • Professional and consistent customer service.
  • Answering inbound calls from customers, contractors, and engineers
  • Making outbound calls to our customers, contractors, and engineers
  • Manage and process purchase orders /uplifts for Contractors.
  • Support and Liaise with our customers, contractors, and CITY engineers with ETA's.
  • To ensure all aspects of quotations jobs are processed through to completion.
  • To process part procurement/Hire requests from CITY Engineers.
  • Validate and process uniform requests for CITY field operatives via supplier portal.
  • Action incoming emails from shared OSS mailboxes.
  • Communicate fluently and confidently

Essential requirements:
  • Previous customer services background would be advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to multi-task
  • General admin and data entry - computer literacy is essential.
