Job Description
Job Purpose
- To undertake planned and reactive Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Maintenance works in line with the client and equipment specification.
- The successful candidate will need to able to work under their own supervision within company policies and procedures across multiple locations.
Job Role
This is a hands-on Engineering role, ideally suited to someone with a Refrigeration Engineering background, however full training can be provided for any suitable candidate with an Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC type of background looking for a change of career.
The role will involve working as part of a team mainly in a retail environment on commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment, Including central plant, Integral systems, Alarm panels and leak detection systems etc.
The successful candidate will need a full driving license and flexible attitude in order to deliver Maintenance requirements to a pre-planned schedule.
Key Accountabilities
- Delivery of planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance works across multiple sites
- Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect programme delivery
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Updating cbes/client systems accurately as required
- Representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times, develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clients
Experience and Qualification
(Full training can be provided to the right candidate)
- Refrigeration Maintenance experience, ideally with some form of refrigeration qualifications
- F Gas Certification
- Experienced working on central plant
- Familiar with RDM alarm systems
- CO2 experience an advantage but not essential
- Experience working within supermarket stores
- Full driving licence and flexible to travel on a daily basis
