Salary: £39,199.29 Basic Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment)

This position is responsible for carrying out repairs and planned preventative maintenance of fire & security equipment across Asda sites.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPIs set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
  • To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
  • To complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures and satisfactory standards.
  • To respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and when on call. For avoidance of doubt out of hours will be referred to the specialist in the first instance.
  • To identify non-repairable faults in equipment and propose corrective course of action.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Essential:

  • GCSE standard
  • Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
  • CCTV IP/analogue systems
  • Fire alarm systems

Desirable:

  • IPAF licence holder (training will be provided)

The ideal candidate:

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Full driving licence
  • Ability to distinguish colours to the standard required for maintenance and repair of electrical/ electronic equipment and appliances
