Job Purpose: To oversee the delivery of planned and reactive works on a defined site within agreed timescales and budgets whilst complying with company policy and procedure. Engage with Coop senior management, complete MI reports and input into local business planning processes etc. To ensure the efficient management and operation of a distribution facility.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the management delivery of all reactive and planned works;
- Assist the management of Lead Engineer, DMTs and DMAs to ensure contract KPI's and SLA's are achieved;
- Liaise with the customer and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- Monitor and report on the operational performance of the contract, including delivery of planned and reactive works on the specific site;
- Liaise and manage both internal sub-contractors and client direct supply chain (Managed contracts);
- Liaise with supply chain to obtain quotations for reactive/planned tasks and manage while working on site;
- Responsibility for completion and sign off for all RAMS and relevant H&S documentation;
- The management, development and motivation of their team of direct reports including the assessment and monitoring of job performance and where necessary, facilitating the company disciplinary and/or grievance procedure in conjunction with the Human Resources department;
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, CBES HSE management systems, procedures or instructions as they apply and to ensure that all direct reports are adequately trained and follow safe systems of work;
- Chair meetings including internal and customer;
- Production of site progress reports for CBES senior management;
- Costing and planning small works, asset/capex;
- Ensuring the planning, development and implementation of strategy for staff training in conjunction with site and job specific requirements;
- Comply with any reasonable request or instruction from the customer/Regional Manager;
- Responsibility for management and delivery of PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds/NVQ Electrical or Mechanical Installation or Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent);
- City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection);
- BS7671:2018 - Wiring Regulations 18th Edition;
- City & Guilds/NVQ Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent);
- CSCS/ECS Skill card - Manager Grade;
- CITB SMSTS (or equivalent).
