Job Title: Case Maintenance Operations Lead (Refrigeration)

Location: South, London, United Kingdom

Working Hours: 45 hours per week – Night Shift (Monday – Thursday 18:00 – 05:30)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Maintenance Operations Lead to join our team, working across the City Facilities Management group.

The purpose of this role is to lead the predetermined refrigeration case maintenance programme in line with SLA across all City Clients in your region. You will supervise and manage the regional case maintenance teams within your area.

You will manage technicians and client interactions, ensuring a customer-focused approach that builds trust and long-term partnerships. Service delivery must comply with legislative and regulatory standards, as well as service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular validation store visits and ensure case cleans are validated in IT systems.
  • Create remedial reports for each PPM and inform the National Manager of necessary actions.
  • Coordinate activities and administrative tasks of Case Maintenance Team Leaders in your area.
  • Act as the primary operational contact and escalation point for your teams.
  • Complete appraisals and deliver training for Case Maintenance Teams.
  • Carry out work in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Order materials within agreed limits.

People Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company professionally and build strong relationships with team members and leaders.
  • Lead and support teams through regular communication and visible leadership.
  • Manage performance, conduct, recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, and absence processes.
  • Handle disciplinary, grievance, and colleague development matters as needed.
  • Serve as the main contact for teams and deputise for the National Manager when required.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has a cleaning background.
  • Has supervised a medium-sized team.
  • Has experience dealing with performance and conduct issues.
  • Holds a full driving license.
