Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 Hours Per Week + Overtime (1.5x)

Salary: £34,418.81 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts

Owing to expansion of our services we are excited to be recruiting for a new Plumbing and Drainage team at City Facilities Management UK Limited. We are a multi-national company with leading contracts globally, offering state of the art facilities management and maintenance to ASDA, a partnership built over 30 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  • Where necessary to procure essential parts and materials and to consult with the Store Manager to affect the repair and minimise disruption in the store.
  • Foul Drainage and Grease PPM – locate all internal drains and check water flow, clearing any debris and grease trapped in the system.
  • Surface Water PPM’s – clearing and jetting all downpipes and gulleys at store, in the car park and delivery yard.
  • Roof PPM’s – conduct the cleaning and debris removal from all gutters, drainpipes, and gulleys internally and externally.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential:

  • Time served in drainage position
  • Good knowledge of water systems
  • Ability to complete a wide range of general plumbing and sanitaryware maintenance and repairs
  • Competent at working at height
  • Willingness to work flexible hours. Night shift may be required
  • Competent in the use of drainage machinery
  • Competent in using CCTV equipment

Desirable but not essential:

  • Working in confined spaces
  • Water Jetting (WJA Certification)

The ideal candidate:

  • Full driver’s license
  • IT Literate
  • Willingness to travel, provide support in surrounding regions may be required
  • PPM compliant
  • Customer focused, with a helpful friendly manner

Please note the successful candidate will be asked to complete a DBS check as part of the onboarding process.
