Location: North Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our company, working with one of our major UK supermarket clients.
The role involves carrying out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs, as well as assisting in planned and reactive maintenance, electrical, and mechanical plant works at various sites within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist other City Technicians with maintenance work.
- Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules on time, ensuring paperwork is accurate.
- Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk, assessing and carrying out repairs.
- Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repairs within timescales.
- Ensure tools and equipment are available and functional.
Qualifications / Experience:
- City & Guilds / NVQ trade qualification (Carpentry / Plumbing / Roofing).
- Experience in building maintenance within a commercial/retail environment.
Desirable but not essential:
- Ability to maintain and repair various equipment.
- High quality repairs and maintenance.
- Speed and efficiency in work.
The ideal candidate:
- Full driving license.
- Experience using a PDA system.
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance in a retail environment.
