Role Overview
The role involves carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across several retail stores, maintaining and repairing a range of refrigeration equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple retail stores, maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment.
- Undertaking regular planned store visits to complete reactive work, PPMs, and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
- Carrying out PPM and reactive refrigeration maintenance across a number of sites.
- Service and repair a range of CO2 refrigeration pack equipment.
- Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advising the Refrigeration Manager with recommendations for replacement.
- Carrying out minor alterations and installations within technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
Essential Qualifications
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
- City and Guilds 2079-1 FGas Category 1.
Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)
- City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition.
- City and Guilds Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Refrigeration System Services.
The Ideal Candidate
- Multiple years of experience working with supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1 in 4 weeks.
- Full driving licence.
- Experience using a PDA system.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Carried out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £46,791.53 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts.
