This position is responsible for carrying out repairs and planned preventative maintenance of fire & security equipment across Asda sites.
Key Accountabilities:- To undertake maintenance and repairs in accordance with KPIs set by the customer including, but not limited to response, repair, first fix, and closure.
- To ensure all planned, reactive and statutory works designated to a CCTV engineer is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations as set out in the City FM Bookcase.
- To complete the PPM works within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures and satisfactory standards.
- To respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk during normal hours and when on call.
- To identify non-repairable faults in equipment and propose corrective course of action.
- GCSE standard Electrical Competency Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- CCTV IP/analogue systems
- Fire alarm systems
- IPAF licence holder (training will be provided)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Full driving licence
- Ability to distinguish colours to the standard required for maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic equipment and appliances
