City Explorer is a media and technology organisation focused on real-time video content and digital engagement. City Explorer is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor with strong Figma skills to support our growing library of partner showcase videos. This is a freelance, per-video role with the potential for ongoing work.
About the Work
- Each video follows a clear, repeatable structure. All core assets and guidance will be provided.
- Standard intro and outro videos (no modification required).
- Presenter footage recorded on green screen in Log format, requiring correct conversion and colour grading.
- Platform visuals created from Figma templates, which must be edited and customised for each business listing on our platform.
- High-quality screen recordings from Figma used within the final video.
- Integration of video materials provided by our business listings on our platform.
- Background music selected by the editor.
Responsibilities
- Edit approximately 2-minute promotional videos following a defined structure.
- Edit and customise Figma templates for each video.
- Capture clean, high-resolution screen recordings from Figma.
- Correctly handle and colour-grade Log video footage.
- Apply green screen keying accurately and professionally.
- Ensure correct formats, resolutions, and frame rates.
- Maintain consistency and attention to detail across multiple videos.
Required Skills
- Proven experience working with Log footage and colour grading.
- Strong Figma skills, including editing and customising templates.
- Ability to capture high-quality screen recordings from Figma.
- Solid understanding of video formats and frame rates.
- Experience working with green screen footage.
- High attention to detail and consistency.
