Summary: The sales assistant serves as a key face‑to‑face contact and liaison for customers. This person generates sales while providing quick, accurate and courteous service. Additionally, they process customer orders and inquiries, and support functions such as receiving material, maintaining showroom/warehouse organisation, shipping materials and preparing customer additions. The sales assistant works with other branches to ensure customers in the network receive a consistently high level of service.

Essential Job Functions:

• Process customer orders on the trade counter or by phone.
• Receive warehouse material.
• Develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
• Assist with customer deliveries when needed.

Qualifications:

• One‑year work experience preferred.
• Valid driving license preferred.
