This is a full time permanent (hybrid) position paying a salary of £30,000 per year.
Position Summary: City Cruises UK is part of the City Experiences division of the Hornblower Group, a global leader in world-class experiences and transportation services. We operate public dining and sightseeing cruises as well as private charters for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, or other special occasions across London and York. The Sales and Commercial Administration Executive role works across our sales and commercial functions and owns a range of data insights and administrative functions to support our growth goals. The post holder can expect exposure to many areas of the business.
Commercial insights- Maintain a range of dashboards which give insights into the health of our business.
- Monitor 3rd party sales assets (mainly websites but could include print assets) to ensure information and prices are accurate and up to date.
- Regular price and competition analysis to ensure our offering remains competitive.
- Monitor and collate customer reviews from 3rd party platforms and distribute with suggestions for improvements.
- Collate ad hoc data as requested to assist the business in decision-making.
- Distribute rates and content to new and existing partners.
- Assist trade partners with bookings and queries.
- Ensure all contact with trade partners is logged in Salesforce.
- Issue tickets to third parties, ensure records are up to date and liaise with finance team for reconciliations.
- Self-Biller reconciliation and resolution (working closely with credit control).
- Act as the internal owner for our B2B booking platform.
- Ensure partners have access to inventory and highlight any fixes or enhancements to the appropriate teams.
- Train partners in the use of this system and ensure they adopt best-practices.
- Be the first point of contact for a range of internal teams (finance, F&B) to answer any questions related to third-party sales.
- Host familiarization trips for sales partners.
- Monitor F&B reports.
- Support across the departments when required on project work.
- Educated to degree level, ideally within a travel/tourism or business related discipline.
- One year’s work experience in travel / leisure / hospitality.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Self-starter with ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and committed to data accuracy.
- Past experience using Salesforce advantageous.
