An additional post has been agreed within the team, and we are looking to appoint a temporary (2 year) full time Special Guardianship Coordinator to join our thriving service. We are looking for someone who will be passionate about providing high quality support to both Special Guardians and children in order to promote stability as the needs of children and young people evolve and change.
This post will be responsible for ensuring all Special Guardian's reviews are completed and there will be a team of support officers specifically supporting both Special Guardians and children and young people to improve stability and offer support in times of need. It is an exciting time to join our service with several new service developments.
You must possess a Social Work Qualification, have up to date knowledge and experience of working with children and families in a multi-agency/inter-disciplinary setting and have knowledge of the functions of a fostering service and Special Guardianship Orders.
