We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our teams at Birchgrove Special Needs Day Service and Swansea Vale Resource Centre. The working hours are as follows:
- Swansea Vale Resource Centre: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
- Birchgrove SNS: 11:45 am to 1:45 pm
The role involves preparing and serving midday meals to service users attending both locations. Responsibilities include pureeing, blending, and chopping meals according to individual SALT guidelines, along with various cleaning and kitchen duties. High standards of cleanliness, record-keeping skills to meet legislative requirements, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Training will be provided. Experience in kitchen work and a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate are required.
