Swansea Council is currently looking to recruit an Engagement and Support Officer. The Welsh Government's Communities For Work Plus Employability Grant will provide the infrastructure to support the ongoing delivery of the current Employability Programme. It aims to enable Lead Delivery Bodies to enhance their employment support for those with complex barriers who are furthest from the labour market.

The programme will support participants residing in Swansea. Participant Engagement & Support Officers will work closely with local community groups and individuals to raise awareness of the programme, identify new participants, and facilitate their engagement and enrollment.

The post holder will support all aspects of programme development and capacity building, responding to local needs within set guidance. The role offers a flexible, high-quality service, working in partnership with various internal and external providers, and will be part of an integrated team. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding community setting.
