About the role

This advert is for a social worker within the 16+ Team @ Infonation (The BAYS+ Service). BAYS+ supports young people under Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After, and Care Leaver arrangements. Working in partnership with Barnardo\’s, the 16+ Team aims to provide a seamless and tailored response to the needs of all young people (aged between 16 and 25).

Responsibilities and expectations

We hope to employ a dynamic and solution focused person who has a passion for this service area and the enthusiasm needed to meet the challenges of this age group. The team aims to provide a seamless and tailored response to the needs of all young people aged 16 to 25. The post involves knowledge of statutory roles within Child Protection and the responsibilities of the Local Authority towards Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
