We are seeking 2 enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Housing Renewal and Adaptations Caseworker team.
Duties include assisting applicants in completing housing grants and loan applications and undertaking other administrative tasks associated with the provision of housing grants and loans.
The postholder will be expected to liaise with grant applicants, Occupational Therapists, surveyors, contractors and suppliers. The role will be a mixture of office/remote home working based with visits to applicants homes to complete paperwork in support of applications for housing adaptation and repair grants and loans.
Following suitable training, the postholder duties will include carrying out an assessment of the client\’s disabled adaptations needs and make recommendations for simple, straightforward medium sized housing adaptations.
It is essential for the postholder to have good communication and inter-personal skills.
