With this role, you will be supporting an adult with Down syndrome and autism in their home and in the community. Our client has 24/7 care and you would be joining a team of carers who make a real difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Stock management and ordering consumables.
  • Assisting with physiotherapy.
  • Carefully and safely supporting access to planned community activities, managing sensory input, and promoting positive social interactions.

The client enjoys listening to music, watching films, day trips, arts and crafts, gym visits, eating out, swimming, cooking, singing, painting nails, clothes, and dressing up.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have some care experience, ideally supporting people with mental health challenges. We are looking for someone who can offer plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.

Compensation & Hours:

Pay: £13 per hour. Shifts: waking night shifts 9 pm-9 am, available across the week.
