We are currently looking for compassionate Care Professionals to join our dedicated East Hertfordshire branch. Work Locations

As this is a community-based role, you will be traveling to support clients within their local communities. We proudly provide high-quality care across East Hertfordshire and all surrounding areas, primarily covering:

  • Hoddesdon & Surrounds: Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Wormley, Turnford, Cheshunt, Great Amwell, Hertford Heath, Nazeing, Roydon, Goffs Oak, Cuffley, Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, and Harlow.
  • Hertford & Surrounds: Hertford, Ware, Stanstead Abbotts, and surrounding villages.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role due to the geographical nature of the rounds.

(Flexible shift patterns including 7 days a week are available to suit your lifestyle. Day shifts: 06:00/07:00 - 14:00, Evening shifts: 14:00 - 22:00/23:00).

  • Health Monitoring - observing and reporting changes in condition
  • Social Inclusion - helping maintain community and family connections
  • Emotional Support - empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear
  • Documentation - accurate record keeping
  • Safety & Emergency Response - creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed
  • Collaboration - working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

Qualifications

What You'll Need (Besides a Cape!)

You don't need formal care experience! The skills you've gained from raising a family, caring for loved ones, or running a household are exactly what makes a brilliant Care Professional. Full, paid training is provided. We're looking for:

  • Genuine empathy, compassion, and respect for others
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a naturally caring nature
  • Patience and active listening skills to truly understand our clients' needs
  • Resilience and adaptability-because no two days (or clients!) are exactly the same
  • A keen eye for detail to spot any changes in a client's health or well-being
  • The ability to use your initiative and stay calm under pressure
  • Willingness to learn new skills and participate in continuous training
  • Great communication and a collaborative team spirit
