The Role
The Reviewing Officer plays a vital role in supporting the success of apprenticeships at City College Plymouth by ensuring compliance, fostering communication, and coordinating seamless interactions among students, employers, and staff. This position is focused on delivering structured and meaningful tripartite reviews that support apprentice development and meet apprenticeship standards. The Reviewing Officer is responsible for maintaining organised review schedules, collaborating closely with curriculum leaders, tutors, assessors, and employers to set actionable targets, and driving progress in line with college values of Respect, Ownership, and Integrity. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance the student learning experience, advance career readiness, and strengthen employer partnerships, thereby contributing to the overall mission of City College Plymouth to provide quality education that empowers every student to reach their full potential.
