The Role

We are seeking a Web Developer to design and develop secure, accessible and user-focused digital services supporting the Defence Technical Excellence College and its wider partner network. Working primarily with Microsoft .NET technologies, you will develop and maintain the DTEC online resource platform, digital prospectus and associated integrations, enabling partners to access shared curriculum, CPD, employer and careers resources. You will work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn programme requirements into reliable, scalable digital solutions that meet high standards for security, accessibility and maintainability.

What Will You Bring to the Role

  • Adapting -Able to switch effectively between development, stakeholder requirements, integrations, testing and live support, adapting priorities as technical and programme needs change while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Focused -Able to sustain close attention to detail when writing, reviewing, testing and deploying code, with particular focus on security, accessibility, data protection, reliability and technical quality.
  • Problem-solving -Able to analyse complex user and system requirements, identify patterns and root causes in technical issues, critically evaluate options and design practical, maintainable digital solutions.
  • Learning -Able to learn continuously from user feedback, system performance and developments in web technologies, security and development practice, applying new knowledge to improve DTEC digital services.
