Overview
At City College Norwich we have seen an influx in demand for Higher Apprentices in the Construction field. To help support and prepare these apprentices for industry we are looking to recruit an Apprenticeship Workplace Supervisor to conduct progress reviews with the apprentice and employer and mentors, enabling a bridge between their academic studies and their workplace experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, meeting regularly to review and track their progress.
- Support apprentices with logging job hours and building a portfolio of evidence.
- Assist apprentices through Gateway and EPA.
- Conduct progress reviews with apprentices, employers and mentors.
- Work flexibly, one day a week (Monday‑Friday) to support the apprenticeship programme.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience or familiarity with higher-level apprenticeships in construction.
- Ability to support students in meeting academic and industry requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
