Overview: Mental Health Adviser — 37 hours per week, term time 40 weeks. Salary £27,694 - £29,556 per annum pro rata. Fixed term until 31 July 2027.
We are looking for a skilled professional with recent experience of working in youth mental health, ideally in an education setting or experience of teaching young people under the age of 25.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a wide variety of professionals both internal and external to the College to support students.
- Attend multi-agency planning meetings with agencies such as CAMHS to devise and implement collaborative action plans to support learners to access their education.
- Liaise with the team, support colleagues and take a leading role in working with partners on a multi-agency basis.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with high levels of coordination, attention to detail and record keeping. Some evening work is required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communicator with experience of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
- Experience of working in youth mental health, ideally within an education setting, or experience teaching young people under 25.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain records accurately.
