We are seeking a SERVICE / VEHICLE TECHNICIAN to join our client on a permanent basis. Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Routine maintenance and service checks
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Producing reports on vehicle health and condition utilising an electronic health check system and following the manufacturer guidelines
- Communicating technical issues to customers by utilising intuitive video software, as well as face-to-face interactions
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
What we need from you:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification within the automotive or engineering sector and have previous experience in a vehicle workshop
- An MOT qualification would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate
- Must have basic computer skills necessary to use factory software
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- UK manual Driving licence
- Passport or Birth Certificate with National Insurance number proof
