Temporary ongoing (Could lead to permanent role)
Up to £15.50 per hour DOE
Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Fridays 07:30 – 13:20
Standard hours 37.50 per week

Responsibilities
- Setup and operation of the CNC Brake Press (training provided) including part operations, tool setup, machine processes, software control and part database management
- Perform internal maintenance tasks on the Brake Press as specified by check sheets and routine maintenance plans
- Reporting of any issues with the Brake Press to the sheet metal engineer or production manager
- Setup and operation of sheet metal workshop machinery (training provided)
- Successfully manufacture items to required specifications and known timescales
- Accountable for ensuring all work and tasks carried out are completed to the highest quality standard
- Work towards production schedules to meet deadlines and targets as instructed
- Undertake tasks across workshop production including raw material handling, deburring, part assembly, finishing operations and workshop housekeeping
Qualifications
- Ability to setup and operate CNC machinery and understand CNC operating software
- Ability to setup and use sheet metal and workshop tooling
- Competent to perform hands-on/manual tasks
- Ability to read, understand and follow production documents, product layouts and technical drawings
- Competent numeracy and literacy skills
- Able to follow instructions closely when given
- Able to work on own initiative
- Team Player
