Our client is seeking a SECURITY FLOORING LABOURER to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. We are looking for candidates with experience and hold a valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Preparation: Removing existing flooring, scraping, cleaning, and repairing subfloors, and applying levelling compounds or screed.
- Helping lead fitters with the installation of safety vinyl, linoleum, rubber, or carpet tiles, particularly in areas requiring hygienic or heavy-duty flooring.
- Loading and unloading materials and transporting tools to and from the site.
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping flooring materials.
- Applying adhesives, sealant, or specialized coverings.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labour and work on hands and knees for extended periods.
Tool Proficiency: Experience using hand tools and power tools (e.g., cutters, scrappers). Welding experience would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- CV showing previous Flooring Labouring experience
- UK Driving licence
- Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance
